I took these pictures of pink Hydrangea flowers up in Northwest Washington. I have always loved Hydrangeas. My Grandma had them around her house. Hers were huge and had blue flowers, she lived in the Midwest. These in the picture are much smaller than what my Grandma had…could be that the deer eat them down. LOL!
The color of the blooms has to with the PH and amount of aluminum in the soil. I would love to have a couple of these in pots, so I could play with the soil and watch the color changes.
These blooms were huge!
The big bright green leaves really help set off the pink flowers.
